Snowbowl is a short half an hour away, with world class skiing available during the winter months. Want to try something different? There are many different ski areas within reach of Missoula, including Lost Trail, Lookout Pass, Discovery Basin, Big Mountain, and Blacktail Mountain. All of these areas enjoy the great snow and conditions the Rocky Mountains are famous for.

Flathead Lake
In addition to great skiing, there are many other activities to enjoy in Western Montana. Travelers Inn is located only 65 miles south of Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River. This lake provides many different opportunities for recreation, including fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, and rafting down the lower Flathead River. Just north of the lake lies Glacier National Park, renowned for its awesome glaciers and rugged landscape.
